The Colle San Giorgio Wood
The company takes its name from the hill behind it, on the top of which there are the remains of a pre-Roman Italic temple (theme of the book by Doctor Gabriele Iaculli ‘The Italic temple of Colle San Giorgio’ published a few years before the opening of the farmhouse). All the finds found are exhibited at the manda (national archaeological museum of Abruzzo) in Chieti. The site is easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes via a comfortable path.
Outside, between two woods and next to a large oak tree, we have set up a camera trap for a few years which has allowed us to immortalize all the species of animals present in the area.
